Spartanburg Regional Health Services District

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) is a comprehensive healthcare provider serving Upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina. Established in 1921, SRHS has grown to become one of the largest healthcare systems in South Carolina, employing over 10,800 staff members and featuring more than 1,000 providers. The system operates multiple facilities, including the Spartanburg Medical Center, Union Medical Center, and specialty facilities focused on long-term acute care. SRHS offers a wide range of services, including cardiac care, cancer care, hospice and palliative care, surgical services, and emergency and trauma care. The system is known for its advanced technology, having introduced innovations such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and robotic surgery systems. Additionally, the Medical Group of the Carolinas serves as the regional physician network, ensuring accessible healthcare across the service area, which encompasses seven counties.
