Algonquin College is a publicly funded Ontario college (Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology) providing career-oriented post-secondary education. It was formed in 1967 through the merger of the Eastern Ontario Institute of Technology (EOIT) and the Ontario Vocational Centre (OVC).
